A Call to Duty!

As a member of the Tea Party, I took on the responsibility of being a Precinct Delegate without having a clue as to what it would require in time and organization. I took on the task because I am concerned about the direction the Obama administration was taking us and I wanted to be more deeply involved in making a change.

I found out it is a tough but rewarding experience!
While replacing blown away Yard Signs, It occurred to me, after November 2nd my life might get back to normal.
Yet, I realized no matter what that upcoming November 2nd Election brought us, the importance of the Tea Party movement to protect and defend the Constitution would never end!

I realized we have to be unified and organized because we are competing with a well oiled and well organized Left Wing News Media propaganda machine bent on destroying the Tea Party movement.

In addition, we are also challenged, to bring back Constitutional Conservatism to the Republican Party!

The Republican Party will not, and cannot be the same after November 2nd.

We all have to realize the cost to us personally, both politically and financially, is nothing compared to the ultimate price many Americans have paid defending and protecting the Constitution that gives us our Rights.

Getting involved has given me a fresh pride in knowing every yard sign and political brochure I pass out, honors their Call To Duty.

As Tea Party conservatives the honor of bringing the Constitution and the freedom it gives to everyone, is our Call To Duty.

Page 1 Are we ready to become an active Precinct Delegate?

There is no doubt, in my mind; everyone of us has a bit of activist in us! Many of us became PDs because we felt the need to do something about the direction our country is going. So, the desire to do something about it is the foundation upon which…Continue

I seem to remember reading something in the Caledonia paper just before the primary about obtaining the permission of adjacent property owners before putting signs in rights of way.  Would this requirement apply to signs put up in intersections?  I see signs at intersections all the time, but is it okay to put them there without checking with the owner of the property on that corner?

Very Close to voting!

A good Idea is to hang on to candidate yard signs and (if you can) place them at street intersections on the way to voting locations.  It could give undecided voters the last exposure of our candidates.  I am holding onto Romney/Ryan, Amash, Hoekstra and TOCB signs. Do a little scouting and place signs strategically the evening before election day. Also, there are a lot of signs out there.  Take it upon yourself to get out after election day and pull signs.  You can drop off at my house or can pick up and bring them back to the GOP.

Positions voted on at the state Convention. This Convention is certainly an opportunity you will not want to miss! We will be nominating our candidates for the Michigan Supreme Court, State Board of Education, Wayne State University Board of Governors, Michigan State University Board of Trustees, and University of Michigan Board of Regents.

Also believe the state GOP officers positions are up for grabs. Will verify and get back to all.

Oops - My bad: The Precinct Delegate Training at the MidVilla in Middleville is at 7:45 pm, NOT at 6:30 on Tuesday May 8.

It sounds like the Glenn campaign has some work to do.  They are looking for county leaders etc across the state.

Dave, should we do a broadcast message looking for petition gatherers etc?  Did you say you already have a leadership roll in the glenn campaign?
